Tier sets in Burning Crusade drop in the form of tier tokens from specific bosses. These tokens are meant to be used by specific classes:
Fallen Champion: Paladin, Rogue, Shaman
Fallen Defender: Druid, Priest, Warrior
Fallen Hero: Hunter, Mage, Warlock
Tier 4 tokens drop from scattered bosses in Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, and Magtheridon's Lair, but all bosses drop the same slot piece for all classes.
All Glove tokens drop from The Curator, the third required boss in Karazhan.
All Helm tokens drop from Prince Malchezaar, the fifth required and final boss in Karazhan.
All Shoulder tokens drop from High King Maulgar, the first boss in Gruul's Lair.
All Leg tokens drop from Gruul the Dragonkiller, the second and final boss in Gruul's Lair.
All Chest tokens drop from Magtheridon, the only boss in Magtheridon's Lair.
