What Are Puzzling Cartel Chips?
Puzzling Cartel Chip are a limited currency introduced in Patch 11.1.5, letting you buy Heroic or Mythic raid gear or Mythic+ trinkets from a special vendor. This is Blizzard’s refined take on the popular "Dinar" system from past expansions.

Purchase any eligible raid weapon, trinket, or item (including rare drops).
Unlocks May 13th, 2025.

How to Earn Puzzling Cartel Chips
Starting May 13th US / May 14th EU, you’ll gain Chips via a weekly quest:
Week 1: Complete 4 Raid Bosses or 4 Mythic+ Dungeons to get 3 Cartel Chips.
Week 2 and beyond: The same quest gives 1 Cartel Chip per week.
You can earn a total of 9 Chips per character throughout the season.
Mythic+ players can participate without raiding. Cartel Chips are available from 4 dungeon completions.
Where to Spend Chips (Consultant Wrexxle)
Located in Dornogal near the Great Vault.
Each item costs 3 Cartel Chips.
Heroic and Mythic gear options are available.
Important Note: You must kill the corresponding boss (any difficulty for Heroic gear, Mythic only for Mythic gear) before you're eligible to purchase the item.

Timeline for Item Purchases
May 13 US / May 14 EU: Earn 3 Chips – Buy 1 item immediately.

June 17 US / June 18 EU: Reach 6 Chips – Buy 2nd item.
July 8 US / July 9 EU: Reach 9 Chips – Buy 3rd and final item.

Hero-track trinkets: Always available.
Myth-track trinkets: Requires timing all Season 2 dungeons on Keystone +12 or higher (Resilient Keystone achievement).
